VEGAS! VEGAS!! VEGAS!!! There is never a boring moment in this place and I mean it. You’ll find everything you want and need for a vacation in Vegas. Do you want a resort-style relaxation or wilderness adventure? Las Vegas offers getaways that really have something for everyone in the city. Normally, short getaways of not more than four nights are the norm.

So, the question is- how do you pack lightly when there are so many activities to carry out? Here are our tips for packing for a vacation in Las Vegas.

Carry-on packing list for women going for a vacation in Las Vegas

  • Two pairs of pants (casual) or a combo of skirts, pants and dresses
  • Three casual tops that will match your skirts and pants
  • A dressy dress that you can wear to a show
  • A dressy top that will turn your casual pants to a night-on-the-town wear
  • Shoes: a pair of dress shoes, a pair of flip flops for the swimming pool and a pair of walking shoes or sandals .If you have plans to hike; get closed toe running shoes
  • Bathing suit
  • Make-up
  • Socks or hose (optional)
  • Jewelry (optional)
  • Curling iron or flat iron (if you deem it necessary)
  • Bring warmer clothes for the evening if you’ll be travelling between October and April. A jacket, sweater or shawl may be useful too.

Carry-on packing list for men going for a vacation in Las Vegas

  • Three t-shirts
  • One blazer
  • Two button-up shirts
  • A pair of dress pants
  • Two pairs of casual pants or shorts
  • Shoes: a pair of dress shoes as some restaurants doesn’t allow running shoes, a pair of flip flops for the swimming pool, and a pair of comfortable walking shoes and/or sandals. If you have plans to hike; get closed toe running shoes.
  • A t-shirt and bathing suit for the pool
  • Six pairs of socks (if you have plans to always be on closed toe shoes), three pairs (if you wear sandals more often)
  • Bring warmer clothes for the evening if you’ll be travelling between October and April. A jacket or sweater may be useful too.
